DESCRIPTION:

The newbie's question 'Which tool should I learn?' doesn't always get a satisfactory answer. This data viz aims to shed some light by highlighting the most common tools by role type and whether practitioners are able to choose their tools.

PROCESS:

This was an AWESOME practice! I started by brainstorming possible questions, then did the exploratory data analysis in python. I used pen and paper to note my main takeaways and sketch out potential data viz designs as well as some icons. The heatmap itself was done in python but for the final touches, I turned to Inkscape.
